Step into a creative afternoon at Montgomery Village with a hands-on workshop led by natural dyer and educator Lisa Rogers of SlowDigz. This botanical-focused experience invites guests to explore the art of natural dyeing using fresh and dried flowers to create one-of-a-kind textiles.
Guided by a spirit of creativity and discovery, this workshop offers a relaxed and welcoming environment for both beginners and those looking to deepen their craft.
During the workshop, guests will: Create a flower-printed silk bandana using fresh and dried botanicals Enjoy a mini Tataki Zome (flower and leaf pounding) demonstration while pieces steam Learn about fabric preparation techniques, including mordanting and scouring.
The workshop fee includes all materials and instruction.
